Fight on road turns ugly

Battered and bruised, Ashraf Pasha, a resident of Saraswathipuram in Tumakuru city, claimed it was the police who brought him to that state over a fight on the road with a police constable. Pasha alleged that heated arguments took place between him and constable Suresh, attached to Tilak Park police station, who tried to overtake his vehicle on a two-wheeler near Banashankari temple circle on Friday evening. The two quarreled following which Pasha allegedly tried to physically assault Suresh. Suresh called four other constables and took Pasha to the Tilak Park station. Pasha alleged the police beat him at the station.
