Field women and youths in Lok Sabha elections, S.M.Krishna tells Sonia

The former External Affairs Minister and senior Congress leader S.M. Krishna has written a letter to party president Sonia Gandhi advising her to give priority to women and youths, who have served the party, while issuing tickets for contesting in the Lok Sabha elections.

Mr. Krishna also told her to admit newcomers into the party through the district Congress committees for achieving healthy relations between workers and the organisation and to strengthen it. He said nobody should be given a position in the party and government, if they have not served the organisation for a minimum period of two years.
