Sunday’s “exam” was conducted after five postponements. Bhavya Kalra, a candidate who applied for a management post, said the exam was supposed to take place in July 2015. She also said that she called up the helpline three days ago for a change in the exam centre. “Within minutes, they changed it from Jaipur to Bengaluru and I was thrilled. The sequence of events on Sunday helped me join the dots,” she said.
Candidates got to know about the exam through newspaper ads and mailers. For several candidates from Tamil Nadu, the centre was changed just three days prior to the exam citing elections as the reason.
