D.C.’s transfer: Protest enters third day

The protest by various organisations and general public condemning transfer of the Deputy Commissioner D.K. Ravi entered third day on Friday.

A large number of functionaries of different political parties and outfits such as CPI (M), Janata Dal (Secular), BJP, AIKS, JMS staged a dharna in front of D.C. office demanding revocation of the transfer order.

A bandh was observed in several parts of the district on Thursday. The march to Vidhana Soudha on Friday was cancelled and the
