‘Country governed by Constitution not by religious texts’

October 20, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:43 am IST - KALABURAGI:

The Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) has condemned the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) for defending the Dadri killing and quoting from the Vedas to justify the incident.

In a statement here on Monday, State Secretary of SDPI Abdul Raheem Patel pointed out that the country is not governed by any religious text, including the Vedas, the Quran or the Bible, but by its own Constitution and the RSS has once again proved to the world that it does not believe in the Constitution, its law or land, while pitching for the theory of majority verses minority.
