President of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee G. Parameshwara has said that if his party assumes power in the State after the Assembly election, all pending irrigation projects in the Krishna basin would be completed.

He was speaking at the valedictory ceremony of the ‘Congress Nadige, Krishneya Kadege’, a walkathon organised to highlight the “State government’s failure” to implement the irrigation projects in the Krishna basin.

Dr. Parameshwara alleged that the BJP government was only making hollow promises of completing the irrigation projects in the Krishna basin.
