Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President G. Parameshwara on Sunday said the Congress has been projected as "anti-Hindu" by the BJP and damaging the secular credentials of the party.

Addressing party workers on the occasion of the Congress Foundation Day, he said, “BJP is trying to paint the Congress as an anti-Hindu, which was totally false and baseless. The Congress is not anti-Hindu and it has been representing all sections and communities. The party has been upholding secular principles since its inception.”

Appealing to party workers to work as true ambassadors to counter the saffron party’s evil designs, he said, that party leaders should speak more on development schemes launched by the State government.
