Committee demands more facilities at railway station

The South Western Railway Passengers’ Welfare Committee has asked the South Western General Manager Pradeep Saxena to fulfil their various demands including provision for a food court, cafeteria and drinking water facility on platform two.

In a memorandum submitted recently, the committee’s General Secretary Rohit Jain has demanded provisions for ticket vending machines at Davangere Railway Station to avoid long queues at ticket counters, construction of approach roads to platform two, construction of additional toilets for passengers at platform two and construction of platform shelters on platform two.
