June 02, 2014 11:39 am | Updated 11:39 am IST - BANGALORE:

The results of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2014, which were announced on Saturday evening, were later declared withheld. The Gujarat National Law University was the organising university for the test, which determines admissions to the national law universities (NLUs) across the country.

A note on the CLAT website said, “Due to some technical discrepancies, the CLAT 2014 results declared on May 31 stand withheld till further intimation and guidelines on the admission process.”

The note further instructed that candidates are required to “keep checking” their login account so that they can fill in the preferences of the NLUs and get updated information about CLAT.

Meanwhile, reports of discrepancies in results were found online, with students complaining of being scored lower than they expected after assessing the answer keys. A group called ‘CLAT 2014 - I want to see my OMR’ with 608 members (as on Saturday evening) on a social networking site also had a serious debate going on about the alleged discrepancies in the results.
