Action was initiated in tune with the provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

Ms. Divya ordered the suspension after looking into a report submitted by Deputy Superintendent of Police Sannathimmappa inquiring into the allegations against Mr. Venkateshamurthy.
