CID probing hacking of Chief Minister’s website

Cyber crime officials of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) are trying to track the internet protocol (IP) address from where Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar’s personal website was hacked on Wedneday.

The case was taken up after Mr. Shettar’s family filed a complaint with the cyber crime police in Hubli.

“We have taken up a case and are investigating,” Superintendent of Police (Cyber Crimes) B.A. Mahesh said.
