Chancellor to confer degrees on medal winners

The annual convocation of Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) will be held at its auditorium at Jnana Sangama campus here on May 9 at 11 a.m. The VTU Registrar said in a notification issued recently that Governor Vajubhai R. Vala, Chancellor of the University, would confer degrees on gold medal winners and first rank holders in undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. candidates for 2013–14, on May 9. Others may collect their degree certificates from the VTU office on the same day or on May 11 by producing identity card issued by their respective college. Degree certificates would be sent by post to others after the convocation. — Special Correspondent
