CBI arrests Kampli MLA Suresh Babu

The Central Bureau of Investigation arrested Kampli MLA T.H. Suresh Babu, on Thursday in connection with the Belikeri missing iron ore case.

Mr. Suresh Babu, who was arrested by the CBI in connection with the case relating to securing bail for his business partner-cum-mentor G. Janardhan Reddy in August 2012, had been out on bail.

He was summoned by the CBI for questioning on Thursday and later arrested. Mr. Suresh Babu was allegedly involved in stealing and exporting over 8 lakh tonnes of iron ore from Belikeri port.
