Tulu movie ‘Dabak Daba Aisa’ releases on Friday

The new comedy Tulu movie “Dabak Daba Aisa” will be released in five multiplexes and seven single-screen cinemas in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi on Friday. This will be the 10th Tulu movie to be released this year and 72nd so far.

The movie will be screened in Suchitra, Big Cinemas, PVR Cinemas and Cinepolis in the city and in Kalpana Cinema in Udupi. It will also be screened in Inox Multiplex in Manipal, Radhika and Planet Cinemas in Karkala, Nakshatra Multiplex in B.C. Road, Bharat Cinema in Belthangady and Aruna Cinema in Puttur.

This movie features popular comedians Devdas Kapikad, Naveen D. Padil, Aravind Bolar and Bhojraj Vamanjoor. Many of the actors in the earlier Tulu movie “Chali Polilu” will also be seen in this movie. Dr. Hansraj Alva and some journalists have also acted in this film.

The film, directed and produced by Prakash Pandeshwar, has four songs, including the popular “Heart da bus Mokedu Rush…”. Shashiraj Kavoor has written the screenplay, while music is by Rajesh M. Cinematographer Utpal Nayanar has captured scenes from different parts of the city, including Surathkal, Bondel and Shaktinagar.

This movie was in the news a few days ago after it was leaked and was being shared on mobile phones in Kundapur. Mr. Pandeshwar alleged that the copy of the film, which had been cleared by the Central Bureau of Film Certification, had been leaked. A complaint was filed with the Karkala police and Mangaluru police.
