Prabha’s family seek Indian embassy' intervention

The family members of 41-year-old Indian techie Prabha Arun Kumar, who was mugged and murdered in a suburb near Sydney on Saturday, are seeking intervention by Indian Embassy in expediting the process of handing over of the body.

“Though we are putting our efforts, the process is a detailed one and taking time. We are hoping our embassy intervenes to expedite the process,” said Prabha Arun Kumar’s younger brother Shivaprasad Shetty while stating the difficulty his brother-in-law G. Arun Kumar was facing in Sydney. “It is difficult for him to handle,” he added.

Mr. Shetty, resident of Bengaluru, is visiting his elderly parents in Amtur village who are traumatized after hearing about the murder of their daughter.
