Latecomers kept out

July 25, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 06:00 am IST

Delay by three minutes proved costly for about eight students at Army Public School. With the gates being closed, these students managed to climb over and rushed to the centre but were not allowed to take the test. While students attributed the delay to traffic, authorities said the CBSE had given clear instructions that no student will be allowed after 9.30 a.m. One student, however, said she reached the centre at 9.28 a.m. and the gates closed two minutes prior. Authorities refused to comment on this.
