Hubli BPO scouting for 200 tutors

NS Infotech (NSI), a leading business process outsourcing IT products and solutions company, which has tied up with NextWealth, Bangalore, will be recruiting 200 “Subject Matter Experts” (tutors) for its new business unit in Hubli.

Chief Executive Officer of NSI Santosh Huralikoppa told presspersons here on Monday that through the tie up, the company planned to generate 10,000 jobs in the next four years in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.

Mr. Huralikoppa said these subject matter experts would be required to tutor and train undergraduate students in the U.S. in the subjects of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. He said the company would be looking for candidates with M. Sc., B. Sc., M. Tech. and Ph. D having a flair for teaching.

He said NSI, which had received the “Highest IT Exports Award” from STPI and Karnataka Government for five consecutive years, was venturing into the field of tutoring for the first time and it was assured of business.

He said initially the company would be recruiting 200 candidates for its Hubli centre and planned to recruit the remaining in a phased manner. He said that the online training would be provided to the American students under the initiative.
