Likewise, there have not been many takers for the Geoinformatics course, with only four of 16 general category seats filled. There have been no takers for M.A. in Hindi and Sanskrit at University College, while only four students have taken up the Kannada course at the Chikka Aluvara campus (30 seats). The M.Com. course at University College is in good demand, with all 76 general category seats filled. At University Evening College, all 30 general category M.Com. seats have been filled. In Chikka Aluvara too, all 35 seats have been filled.

Meanwhile, according to A.M. Khan, Registrar (Evaluation), the university has now announced the results of the postgraduate final semester examinations conducted in May.
