Farmers’ protest | Culture Minister visits Red Fort, orders report

I asked officials to file police complaints in the matter, says Prahlad Singh

Union Culture Minister Prahlad Singh Patel on Wednesday visited the Red Fort to assess the damage to the site, a day after protesting farmers entered the monument , and asked officials to prepare a report on the incident immediately. Officials of the Ministry and the ASI accompanied him.

In a tweet, Mr. Patel said he had directed the officials to file police complaints in the matter.

Mr. Patel had on Tuesday condemned the actions of the protesters.
