In a bid to seek support from various parties for keeping the State united, YSR Congress president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy left for Delhi on Friday to meet top leaders of the CPI (M), CPI and BJP.

Accompanied by five other party functionaries, including Mekapati Rajmohan Reddy and M.V. Mysura Reddy, he is scheduled to meet CPI (M) and CPI leaders on Saturday and BJP national president Rajnath Singh on Sunday. In the event of the court relaxing the bail conditions, the party delegation will meet leaders of various regional parties in different States.

Meanwhile, Dr. Mysura Reddy accused the ruling Congress of misusing Article (3) of the Constitution for political gain and harming the federal unity of the country. He said the YSRC would mobilise the support of other parties on the issue.
