They came to the village on Wednesday night with the help of some acquaintance there and were sleeping in the poultry farm after taking food. However, they were found dead on Thursday morning.
Asphyxiation due to the heavy smoke set in the poultry to repel the mosquitoes was said to be the reason for the death. However, it was suspected that excess consumption of alcohol or food poison also might have caused the death.
“Exact reason for the death will be known only after the forensic lab report from Bengaluru was received”, sources told The Hindu on Friday. Malur police have registered a case and are investigating.
