Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will make a high-level pitch for investments in energy and manufacturing sectors in the State, during his six-day visit to China beginning April 12.
During his visit, the Chief Minister will also address industrialists, investors and businessmen in Beijing, Chengdu and Shanghai, about the investment opportunities in A.P.
In Beijing, Mr. Naidu will meet executives from iPhone-maker Foxconn and also Chinese low-cost smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi and highlight how A.P. has the potential to become a hub of manufacturing for these gadget-makers. He will also tour Huawei’s R&D centre.

The Chief Minister will meet executives from software giant Siemens, Sinoma International Engineering Co. Ltd which operates in equipment manufacturing and supply and engineering sector.
He will have a meeting with “Go Global” pioneer SUMEC Group, which has a presence in technology, renewable energy (solar projects), garment-making, R&D, manufacturing, and financial sector. He will also meet members from industrial bodies such as International Department of the CPC Central Committee, China National Textile and Apparel Council and China Association for Small and Medium Enterprises.
During his visit to Chengdu he will tour Peking University. In Shanghai, he will visit Yangshan Deep Water Port – the world’s busiest trading port which handles a staggering 32 million containers a year, carrying 736 million tonnes of goods around the globe. He will also meet Mayors of Beijing, Chengdu and Shanghai. The State delegation includes Ministers Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, P. Narayana, K. Achhanaidu, AP special representative in Delhi K. Ramamohan Rao, Advisor (communications), AP Govt. Parakala Prabhakar and senior officials.
