JNU row: Raids in 4 States to nab accused

Delhi Police have conducted a number of raids in Maharashtra, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in search of ten persons in connection with an event held on the JNU campus and the case of sedition against students’ union president Kanhaiya Kumar.

“They are looking for 10 specific persons, of whom some are JNU students and the others are believed to be outsiders,” a police source said on Wednesday. The police have received inputs about the presence of some of them in West Bengal and Kerala, following which two separate teams have been sent there as well.
