Known for his quicksilver reflexes behind the stumps and as one of the fastest runners between wickets, M.S. Dhoni was left suprised by a question about his daughter Ziva recently.

The cricketer was at the launch of Run Adam, a tech-based platform to link sports fans, players and coaches in a sports marketplace of sorts, when someone asked what he felt about the media attention Ziva was getting. Somewhat taken aback, Mr. Dhoni called her his ‘stress-buster’.

“Irrespective of whether I like it or not, I notice that she gets a lot of attention. It is good to have someone like her around. She is a livewire, always on the move. Very careful of what she does, so we are not worried that she may get hurt.” He added, “It feels good to have somebody around to ease all the stress. She is hardly three-and-a-half and already is showing character, talks in a particular way. I think it is good to have a daughter always around. Wherever I go, people ask a lot about her, where is she now and what is she doing. I am nowhere in the scene now.”
