Two youths were killed in an early-morning car accident near the Passport Office at Arayidathupalam in the city on Sunday.
The dead were identified as Mohammed Munaif, 22, son of Moidu Haji, and K. Aboobacker, 25, son of Soopy, both hailing from Velam.
N.M. Moosa, who was also in the car, sustained serious injuries and was admitted to a private hospital in the city.

The police said the car in which the three were travelling collided with another car. Three persons in the other car escaped with minor injuries, the police said.
