The Samathwa Munneetta Yatra being led by Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan will be accorded a rousing reception when it reaches Kozhikode district on Wednesday.
Mr. Natesan will be received at Kottaprambil at 10 a.m.
He will be given a reception at Azhiyur also in the morning.

More than 3,000 volunteers of the SNDP Yogam from Vadakara, Payyoli and Perambra would take part in the programme.
Representatives of 32 Hindu organisations will take part in the meetings at various places in the district. SNDP Yogam Devaswom secretary Arakkandi Santosh, Kerala Pulaya Maha Sabha State general secretary T.V. Babu, Munnokka Samudaya Samrakshana Munnani general secretary C.S. Nair would be in the forefront. The yatra aimed at forging a unity of Hindu communities commenced from Kasaragod from Monday and would culminate in Thiruvananthapuram on December 5.

The organisers said that the yatra focussed on the failure of the successive State government to cater to the needs of the majority Hindu community.
Both the Congress-led United Democratic Front and the CPI (M)-led Left Democratic Front had prevented Hindu communities from uniting so that these coalitions could meet their selfish political ends.
Meanwhile the war of words between Leader of Opposition V.S. Achuthanandan and Mr. Natesan continued on Tuesday.
Mr. Achuthanandan likened Mr. Natesan to Vaikom Mohammed Basheer’s character Ettukali Mammoonju. He would stake claim for anything that happened including the pregnancy of an elephant, the Leader of the Opposition said.
Retorting back, Mr. Natesan said that his entry into public life in the State had in fact resurrected Mr. Achuthanandan’s role in the CPI(M).
Fomenting trouble
Reacting to the ongoing yatra, Minister of Industries P.K. Kunhalikutty said that communal forces were trying to foment trouble in the State. The people of the State should stand united irrespective of political and religious affiliations to confront these forces, be it majority or minority communalism, he said.
