Parishad camp to explore Comet ISON

Arrangements are being made by the Kerala Sasthra Sahithya Parishad to view the spectacle set to unfold by the arrival of Comet ISON.

Those who register their names in advance will be allowed to view see the comet at the facility arranged at Perambra Higher Secondary School on November 2 and 3, a press release issued in Kozhikode on Tuesday said.

The programme, to be inaugurated by K. Kunhammed, Perambra MLA , at 5 p.m. on November 2, will continue till 5 p.m. the next day.

There would be talks on the solar system, origin of the universe, and renaissance in Kerala, during the programme.

The talks will be by K. Sreedharan, K. Papputty, K. Vijayan, M.P.C. Nambiar, A. Surendran, and U.P. Nasser.

Those who register their names should reach the school on November 2 by 5 p.m.
