Vaibhav Online, the e-commerce portal of Kudumbasree will be launched on the occasion of the cultural and entrepreneurship festival on Thursday by Minister for Local Self-Governments K.T. Jaleel.
The portal will feature branded products from various Kudumbasree units across the State. Consumers can order and pay for the products online. They will be delivered anywhere in India. Kudumbasree has entered into a tie-up with the Department of Posts for the purpose.
At present, only eight products are featured in the portal. They include sugar and health protein mix, bamboo rice, Zoy chocolate and cake, toothpaste and facepack of Yoga Sidha brand, jappi and various pickles. The products have been hand-picked based on their standards in hygiene and certification. More brands will be included as they comply with the standards.
