NIT-C programme for women entrepreneurs

The technology Business Incubator of the National Institute of Technology-Calicut, (NIT-C) will conduct a women entrepreneurships development programme to give guidance to the prospective women entrepreneurs to start their own units.

The programme, sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, under the Union Ministry is intended to guide prospective women entrepreneurs to set up their own small scale industrial units.

Through the programme the participants will be given guidance to identify a project, study the feasibility of the project and the different processes of setting up the industry.

The participants will also be familiarised with the legal and statutory requirements for starting the small scale industry, a press release said here on Monday.

It will be held at the NIT-C from August 3 to 27. Accommodation will be provided at nominal payment.
