The case

The case was that Saritha had approached the victim as Lakshmi Nair, zonal manager of Team Solar Company, while Biju introduced himself as K.B. Nair or Biju Nair. They collected Rs.12 lakh from Vincent in December 2011, the police said.

Mr. Vincent sought his money back as he got no information from the duo even after three months. The victim was given a post-dated cheque which bounced.

The police had produced her in at least six Magistrate courts.

Three cases had been registered against Saritha and Biju in Kozhikode district.
