An organising committee has been constituted in connection with the valedictory ceremony of the first anniversary of the Left Democratic Front (LDF) government to be held at Malabar Christian College ground here on June 5.

A meeting held at the District Collectorate here on Friday decided to felicitate Padma Shri awardees Guru Chemancheri Kunhiraman Nair and Meenakshi Gurukkal and national film award winner Surabhi Lakshmi on the occasion.
