Jamaat-e-Islami Hind will undertake a nationwide campaign with the slogan ‘peace and humanity’ aimed at bolstering communal harmony, strengthening pluralism and instilling the values of brotherhood.
Syed Sadatullah Hussaini, vice president of the organisation and national convener of the campaign, will flag off the State-level campaign at Gandhi Park in Thiruvananthapuram on September 1.

“Several programmes have been chalked out in connection with the campaign that will conclude on September 15,” M.A. Abdul Aziz, Kerala Ameer and Shaikh Mohammed Karakkunnu, Assistant Ameer, told a news conference here on Tuesday.
They said a seminar on Malabar’s tradition of amity would be organised in Malappuram on September 9.
