The action was taken following four diarrhoea cases reported from the firm on Tuesday night.

Corporation officials said the premises were screened by health department officials on Wednesday morning. They found that 30 such employees from Bihar were residing on the premises in an insanitary condition.

“The toilet was not in a sanitary condition. The kitchen was not clean. The employees were forced to live in a narrow space. Measures have been taken to prevent the spread of the disease,” said a Corporation official.

The civic body screened all the employees for diarrhoea and evacuated the premises to prevent further deterioration of the public health condition in the locality. The action has been taken under the provisions of the Public Health Act, officials said
