VUDA Vice-Chairman conducts inspection of the project

VUDA Vice-Chairman N. Yuvaraj on Sunday said they would complete the Europe model row housing project being developed at Rushikonda at the earliest.

The project is on the verge of completion except for a few interior fixings. During an inspection of the project, Mr. Yuvaraj asked Chief Engineer I. Viswanatha Rao, Executive Engineer M. Balarama Raju and other engineers to complete the finishing works along with pending interior fixtures for handing over the units to allottees.

The row housing project has been developed by VUDA on an area of 6.78 acres in Rushikonda. Twenty-two units were sold in open auction in 2007. It is surrounded by IT SEZ, Ramanaidu Studio and two major housing projects — Sunny Isles and Bay Mount.

The Vice-Chairman told the engineers to make the units ready for handing over to allottees with no work left, as assured. On water and power supply arrangements, the engineers explained that groundwater was available within the project area.

They said after installation of transformers, they were in a position to supply power to all those who apply for meters.

Mr. Yuvaraj told the engineers to take up pest control treatment to the wooden material in the units.
