VUDA, APREDA to identify unauthorised layouts

VUDA has formed a special team with 11 members to identify unauthorised layouts coming up without proper approvals at several places within its jurisdiction. Support of AP Real Estate Developers Association (APREDA) will be taken for monitoring the unauthorised layouts in the Visakhapatnam Metropolitan (VMR) Area, according to VUDA Vice-Chairman N. Yuvaraj.

Inaugurating a blood donation camp organised by the APREDA at the VUDA office premises here on Saturday, he said public awareness will be brought through wide publicity and campaigns cautioning against the illegal layouts. Erection of hoardings at various places, issue of information on unauthorised layouts through the media will be initiated, he added. More than 100 members of APREDA participated in the blood donation camp. VUDA Secretary G.C. Kishore Kumar and a section of the employees also donated blood. President of APREDA G. Chakradhar said the camp was being conducted in association with VUDA, supported by Rotary Club. Blood collected in the camp would be supplied to those in need through Rotary Club.
