Mayor seeks fresh proposals for ramp at Moula Ali

The work on setting up a ramp at Moula Ali not being grounded so far by the contractor, the Mayor Mohammed Majid Hussain has sought proposals with enhanced rates to expedite the project.

At a review meeting here on Tuesday, he said the work was not taken up for various reasons by the contractor and asked engineering officials to place it before the standing committee with enhanced rates to take a decision on expediting it.

On Jiyaguda slaughter house, the Mayor observed that proposals to the tune of Rs.15 crore were pending with the government and wanted it to be put to the general body for taking up the works with GHMC funds, according to a press release.
