Three sitting Lok Sabha members dropped in TRS list

Nama Nageswar Rao gets Khammam ticket

The TRS has dropped three sitting MPs and denied renomination to another former MP in the list of party candidates released on Thursday evening for the ensuing Lok Sabha elections.

Those dropped included TRS leader in the Lok Sabha and Mahbubnagar MP A.P. Jithender Reddy, Mahbubabad MP A. Sitaram Naik and Khammam MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy who won on YSR Congress ticket last time but joined the TRS later. Nalgonda MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy who resigned a few months ago expecting a berth in the State Cabinet was denied renomination but selected to contest one of the seven seats which would fall vacant in the Legislative Council next month.

The following is the full list: Mahbubnagar - Manne Srinivas Reddy; Mahbubabad - M. Kavitha; Khammam - Nama Nageswara Rao; Nalgonda - Vemreddy Narasimha Reddy; Adilabad - G. Nagesh; Nizamabad - K. Kavitha; Karimnagar - B. Vinod Kumar; Peddapalli - Borlakunta Venkatesh Netha; Medak - K. Prabhakar Reddy; Zaheerabad - B.B. Patil; Malkajgiri - Marri Rajasekhar Reddy; Chevella - Dr. Gaddam Ranjit Reddy; Hyderabad - Puste Srikanth Reddy; Secunderabad - Talasani Sai Kiran; Nagarkurnool - P. Ramulu; Warangal - Pasunuri Dayakar and Bhongir - B. Narsaiah Goud. Of them, sitting MPs are Mr. G. Nagesh, Ms. K. Kavitha; Mr. B. Vinod Kumar; Mr. K. Prabhakar Reddy, Mr. Patil, Mr. Dayakar and Mr. Narsaiah Goud.
