Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje might be leading in her Jalrapatan constituency against Manvendra Singh, but her ministers are not faring that well. A majority of Rajasthan’s incumbent ministers and other leaders are trailing behind their Congress counterparts, with a few exceptions.

Rajasthan’s Social Justice Minister’s is trailing at more than 9,000 votes behind Congress’ Pratap Singh Kachariyawas

Constituency: Shahpura
State Assembly Speaker Meghwa is one of the exceptions to this trend, along with Ms. Raje. Mr. Meghwa is leading with nearly 13,000 votes against Congress’ Mahaveer Prasad
Rampratap - Trailing
Constituency: Hanumangarh
Water Resources Minister Rampratap is about 9,500 votes behind Congress’ Vinod Kumar. Mr. Rampratap was instrumental in making Hanumangarh a district in 1994 but is facing anti-incumbency from farmers in the area on the matter of water seepage from the Indira Gandhi Canal into villages.
Prabhu Lal Saini - Trailing
Constituency: Anta
Agriculture Minister Prabhu Lal Saini from Anta is trailing by a whopping 22,000+ votes.
Shrichand Kriplani - Trailing
Constituency - Nimbahera
UDH Minister Shrichand Kriplani is trailing behind INC candidate Anjana Udailal, but it is a close call. There are only about 3,000 votes between the duo.
Otaram Devasi - Trailing
Constituency: Sirohi
Gaupalan Minster Otaram Devasi is trailing independent candidate Sanyam Lodha by about 6,000 votes. The cow protection ministry, the first in the State, has been in the news for a large number of cattle dying.
Kalicharan - Trailing
Constituency: Malvia Nagar
The fight between Health Minister Kalicharan and his INC rival Archana Sharma is neck and neck with a matter of less than 400 votes between them.
Gajendra Singh - Trailing
Constituency - Lohawat
Environment Minister Gajendra Singh is far behind Congress candidate Kisana Ram Vishnoi, trailing by more than 20,000 votes.
Ajay Singh - Trailing
Constituency - Degana
Cooperative Minister Ajay Singh is trailing behind Congress candidate Vijaypal Mirdha by nearly 14,500 votes
