On polling day, AAP got the least donations

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) polled millions of votes in the Delhi election on Saturday but it was also the day when it got the least amount of cash donations in nearly a fortnight.

According to the AAP website, the donations totalled just Rs.2,91,104 on Saturday.

But it was a day when, to go by exit polls, the AAP polled millions of votes and could well form the next government in Delhi.

The AAP never got anything less than Rs.31 lakh on any day since January 25 except February 6, a day before the Delhi election, when donations totalled only Rs.10,31,751.

The AAP collected Rs.33,36,574 on January 25, Rs.31,23,500 on January 26, Rs.39,77,354 on January 27, Rs.31,15,561 on January 28, Rs.33,34,430 on January 29 and Rs.82,08,931 on January 30. The collections zoomed to Rs.1,17,99,058 on January 31 before falling to Rs.36,49,090 on February 1.

It was Rs.58,01,293 on February 2, Rs.81,20,825 on February 3, Rs.77,80,504 on February 4 and Rs.55,03,939 on February 5.
