Just five days ahead of polls, Kiran Bedi's election assistant, Narendra Tandon, who has been a Bharatiya Janata Party worker for decades has quit the party complaining over her "behaviour".

Mr. Tandon, in his resignation letter to BJP president Amit Shah, said he ”could not tolerate” the way Ms. Bedi 'dictated' instructions to party workers. “Her [Kiran Bedi] aides used to insult me on every issue,” his letter stated.

The distraught party worker has also alleged that one of the party secretary (organisation) is only interested in " women and money" and requested Mr. Shah to look into the matter.

Delhi BJP spokesperson Harish Khurana, however, said that their was no conflict in the party and "Mr. Tandon has resigned from the party for the third time".
