India’s Sania Mirza and Elena Vesnina of Russia overcame second set jitters against fourth-seeded Americans Liezel Huberand Lisa Raymond to enter the French Open women’s doubles final here on Wednesday.
Seventh-seeded Indo-Russina pair won 6-3, 2-6, 6-4 in a match lasting one hour and 45 minutes. It is Sania’s maiden Grand Slam final appearance in women’s doubles. They play Czech pair Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka in the title clash.
