Jeevan goes down fighting

Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan lost 6-4, 6-7(6), 7-6(3) to eighth-seeded Denys Molchanov of Ukraine in the first round of the $125,000 +H Challenger tennis tournament in Kaohsiung, Chinese Taipei, on Tuesday. Jeevan, who earned $1300 for his efforts, will now compete in doubles with Ryan Agar of Australia.
