Myneni clears first hurdle

Davis Cupper Saketh Myneni reached the second and final qualifying round with a 7-6(2), 6-2 victory over Fabrice Martin of France in the $4,691,730 Rogers Cup ATP Tour event on Saturday.

In the second round, the 28-year-old Myneni will face Radek Stepanek of the Czech Republic.
