SSN wins overall championship

: SSN College of Engineering won the overall championship in the annual SASTRA-Colloseum 2012 last week.

SSN claimed the badminton event for men and women beating Bharath University 2-0 and SRM 2-0 respectively.

Table tennis double

In table tennis, SSN won both the titles beating SRM (3-0) for men and beat Amrita University 3-0 for women.

While the men’s team emerged winner in tennis beating Amrita University 2-1, the women went down to PSG Technology 1-2.

The men also won the chess event while the women finished as runner up. — Special Correspondent
