Spearhead shines

Spearhead and Argiano shone when the horses were exercised here on Monday morning (Feb. 4).

Outer sand:

600m: Sweet Angel (Arshad) 44. Worked well.

1,000m: Truman (Sahanawaz) 1-14.5, 600/45. In fine trim. Peter Parkers (Sahanawaz), Grand Success (rb) 1-16, 600/43. They moved impressively. Saganaki (Sahanawaz) 1-14, 600/45. Moved freely.

1,200m: Towers Of Hanoi (Rajesh Babu), Supremacy (Kiran Rai) 1-27.5, (1,200-600) 40. Former finished six lengths ahead. Frenemee (Rajesh Babu) 1-31, (1,200-600) 43. Eased up. Midtown Delight (Shobhan) 1-31.5, 1,000/1-15.5, 600/45.5. Moved well. Argiano (R. Marshall), Starscream (Sahanawaz) 1-26.5, 1,000/1-11, 600/44. Former started five lengths behind and finished four lengths ahead.

1,400m: Cirque Du Soleil (R. Marshall) 1-46, 1,200/1-30, 1,000/1-15, 600/46. Moved on the bit.

1,600m: Spearhead (R. Marshall) 1-54, 1,400/1-38.5, 1,200/1-24.5, 1,000/1-11, 600/44. A good display.

Inner sand – Feb 3:

1,400m: Sumitomo (V.R. De Sousa) 1-32.5, 1,200/1-20.5, 1,000/1-7.5, 600/41. Moved attractively.
