The three-year-old gelding Persian Prince, who is in good shape, may win the upper division of the Klarion Gold Plate, the main event of Saturday’s (April 18) races.
Rails will be placed 4 metres away from its original point from 1600 upto the winning post.The Royal Western India Turf Club (RWITC), is all set to add a new chapter in Indian racing history by introducing Sundown racing at Mahalaxmi race course this week-end. Two mock races were planned ahead of the week-end and they were conducted on Thursday evening successfully. Last three races of the day (7th, 8th & 9th) races will be held under floodlights.
Bangalore and Hyderabad Race Clubs will not be conducting inter-venue betting on races to be held on April 18 and 19 at Mumbai.
