TN in semifinal league

Tamil Nadu romped into the semifinal league of the 11 all-India BSNL volleyball tournament with a 25-15, 25-21, 25-18 win over Himachal Pradesh at the Sree Kanteerava stadium outdoor courts here on Wednesday.

Rajasthan followed Tamil Nadu into the last four from Group B with Karnataka and Bihar from Group A completing the line-up.

The results: Group A: Kerala bt MTNL Delhi 25-21, 25-19, 25-13; Karnataka bt Bihar 25-18,25-16, 25-21.

Group B: Tamil Nadu bt Rajasthan 25-7, 25-10, 25-11; Himachal Pradesh bt MTNL Mumbai 25-14, 25-15, 25-16; Rajasthan bt Uttarkhand 25-18,25-21,15-25, 25-14; Tamil Nadu bt Himachal Pradesh 25-15, 25-21, 25-18.
