Tarundeep Rai of Services and Rahul Banerjee of Railways will hold Indian men recurve team's hope of making it to the London Olympics along with Jayanta Talukdar.
The two qualified to represent India in the first three World Cup meets. Shanghai will host the first, Antalya in Turkey will organise the second and the third World Cup will be at Ogden in the U.S. where a window of opportunity has been opened by the world archery federation for those Nations who failed to get a team quota so far.
Among the Indian men, only Jayanta Talukdar has made it to London so far. If the men's team qualifies beating teams like Japan and the USA, among others, it will have one team berth and three individual berths.

Full quota
India has earned full quota of three in the women's section through Deepika Kumari, Laishram Bombayla Devi and Chekrovolu Swuro.
The four-day trial ended here at the SAI Eastern Centre, where Rai stood first after shooting 576 arrows with an average of 340 and above. Each day the archers shot 144 arrows each in four sets of 36.

Banerjee was a close second while young Atanu Das of Steel Plant was third. Beijing Olympian Mangal Singh Champia of Railways ended fourth and Nagaland's Thupovoyi Swuro was fifth in the field of five. The last three will be on stand-bys.
The women's competition too identified the three stand-bys with Rimil Buriuly of Railways, Seema Verma of Steel Plant and Laxmi Rani Majhi of Railways finishing in that order.
The Indian teams' first major task will be at the World Cup Stage 1 at Shanghai from April 10 to 15.
