Saina Nehwal was stretched to three games by Korea's Youn Joo Bae in a women's Group B match of the badminton Super Series finals here on Wednesday.
Saina, seeded second in her group, prevailed over the third-seeded Bae 21-14, 17-21, 21-14.
Players at the $5,00,000 tournament have been divided into groups of four during round-robin play, with the top two in each group advancing to Saturday's semifinals.
