The Rally of Coimbatore, the fourth round of the third FMSCI Indian National TSD Rally Championship for four wheelers will be held here on Sunday. Organised by the Coimbatore Auto Sports Club, the rally has attracted over 40 competitors. An open TSD event will also be held concurrently with the championship event. It includes a novice and all-ladies class.
SK Ajgar Ali (Kolkata) and his navigator MK Md Musthafa (Erode) wrested the lead in the overall and expert classes of the championship with 53 points following their victory in the third round in Bangalore last month.
The duo had won the Rally of Coimbatore last year and will look to extend it in their bid for a maiden crown.
